Annual General Meeting Notice
The Annual General Meeting of the Mimico Lacrosse Club will be held:
Date: October 7, 2024
Time: 7:00 PM
Location: Mimico Arena
At the Annual General Meeting, the Mimico Minor Lacrosse Club will present reports from the board as well as the clubs financial statements. Anyone wishing to propose amendments to the By-laws and Constitution must submit these amendments in writing to the secretary and President by September 15th. Additionally, there are a number of positions on the executive up for election.

Who Can Vote at the AGM:
Life Members: Life Membership is reserved for individuals who have shown outstanding commitment to the Club or the sport of lacrosse through extended volunteer service.
Bench Staff Members: Anyone registered and approved as part of the Bench Staff for any house league or rep team in Field or Box Lacrosse is a voting member in good standing for the year they serve. Each Bench Staff member is entitled to one vote at the AGM, regardless of having a family member who is also a player.
Player Members: Each player in good standing (registered, fees paid, and not suspended) is considered a voting member. If a player is under 18, their vote is represented by one parent or legal guardian per family. Each family of registered players is entitled to one vote, regardless of the number of children playing.
Board of Directors Elections:
Any member in good standing who is eighteen years of age or older, resides in Ontario, and has been nominated by a Director or Member is eligible for election to the Board of Directors. If you would like to submit a nomination to be included on the ballot, it must include the written consent of the nominee and be submitted to the President and Secretary in advance of the AGM. Nominations can also be made from the floor during the meeting, but the nominee's name will need to be added in writing.
