The Ontario Lacrosse Sixes Sector is a new, fast-paced format of lacrosse. It merges the most thrilling aspects of traditional lacrosse into a compact, dynamic version, designed to promote the sport on a global scale, including its integration into the Olympic Games.

The Sixes Sector is open to boys and girls across multiple age divisions. For the 2024 season, the divisions are as follows:
Boys: U9, U11, U13
Girls: U9, U11, U13, U15, U17
This age chart is for Sixes registration, and only for the 2024 season:
U9: Ages 6, 7, and 8 (Birth years 2016, 2017, 2018)
U11: Ages 9 and 10 (Birth years 2014, 2015)
U13: Ages 11 and 12 (Birth years 2012, 2013)
U15: Ages 13 and 14 (Girls Only, Birth years 2010, 2011)
U17: Ages 15 and 16 (Girls Only, Birth years 2008, 2009)

Ontario Lacrosse has residential boundary regulations that require players to play Rep in the next closest centre to their home address. Players don’t have to live in Mimico but they must be residentially bound to the club to play Rep. To check your next closest centre, complete the Where Do I Play? form on the Play Lacrosse website.

Boys will require Full Hockey or Field Lacrosse Helmet, Gloves, Cup, Mouth Guard and Stick.
Optionally they can wear non-capped shoulder pads that that protect the heart. Slash guards, kidney protectors, or any additional plastic protection is not allowed.
Girls will follow OWFL equipment guidelines. Goggles, Stick.
Goalies for Boys and Girls will abide by OMFLL and OWFL rules respectively.

Games will be organized similar to Rep box lacrosse utilizing single-game and tournament formats to maximize gameplay opportunities. Teams only require 4 games to qualify for provincials.
