AGM & Awards Banquet Notice
The Annual General Meeting and Banquet of the Mimico Lacrosse Club will be held:
Date: Saturday October 28, 2023
Time: 2-5pm
Location: Long Branch Social House
At the Annual General Meeting and Banquet, the Mimico Lacrosse Club will present reports from the board as well as the clubs financial statements. The 2023 Awards will also be presented. Additionally, there are a number of positions on the executive up for election.
1st Vice President
Vice President, Minor Field
Vice President, Junior Development
Vice President, Women’s Development
Treasurer
Equipment Director
Vice President, Promotion
Vice President, Alumni
Any member in good standing who is eighteen years of age or over and who is a resident of the Province of Ontario and who has been nominated by a Director or Member is eligible for election to the Executive. Three weeks prior to the date of the Annual General Meeting Notice must be placed on the Website of Mimico Minor Lacrosse advertising for nominations for the Officers Positions. The nomination must include the written consent of the nominee and must be submitted to the President.
In the event that there are no nominations for a position for which an election is scheduled to occur submitted by the deadline, an individual may be nominated from the floor at the Annual General Meeting. If you are interested in running or nominating a member for a position, please email President Chris Cormier at corms24@icloud.com and be sure to have a nominator at the meeting. We encourage all members and parents to attend.
