Welcome to the Alumni Academy, proudly founded by graduates of the Mimico Lacrosse Club. Our alumni are passionate about fostering growth and development within the club, and are excited to offer young players an exclusive opportunity to take your game to the next level.

As Mountaineer alumni, we understand the importance of learning from others who share our love for the Mimico Lacrosse community.

Our goal is to provide young Mountaineers with affordable private and group sessions close to home, ensuring they receive the guidance necessary to achieve their full potential.

Players will have the chance to learn from experienced players and mentors who once stood where they stand today. They have walked the path you're on and have honed their skills to reach the highest levels of the game.

Our alumni bring a variety of skill sets and backgrounds, giving you the opportunity to choose the perfect coach to meet your specific needs and goals.

  • Rory Graham

    CORNELL UNIVERSITY

    Rory Graham is a Senior Attack/Midfielder at Cornell University and a graduate of both the Mimico Minor Lacrosse Club and Mimico Junior A Lacrosse Club. In 2018, Rory was named the U17 Box Rep MVP and was the recipient of the Bob McCabe Award, awarded annually to the Most Outstanding Graduating Box Player. Rory helped St. Michael’s College School to back-to-back Field Provincial Championships in 2017 and 2018 and was elected a senior captain at St. Michael’s in 2019.

  • Thomas McConvey

    UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA / NLL /PLL

    Thomas McConvey was an All American at the University of Vermont before transferring to Virginia for a fifth year in the NCAA. He was selected first overall in the 2022 National Lacrosse League (NLL) Draft by the Rochester Knighthawks and eighth overall in the 2023 Premiere Lacrosse League (PLL) Draft by the Waterdogs Lacrosse Club. A captain for Team Canada in the World Lacrosse Men's U21 Championship in Limerick, Ireland, Thomas is a graduate of both the Mimico Minor Lacrosse Club and Mimico Junior A Lacrosse Club.
