Jr. B/Founders Cup

Mimico Mountaineers to Host Canadian Jr. B Championships
The Founders Cup will be played between August 16th and 22nd this year at either Mimico and Long Branch Arena or the Mastercard Center. There will be teams from Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Quebec, Maritimes, Iroquois Lacrosse Association and the two teams from Ontario, the host and the Provincial Champion. There will be between 8-12 teams and 250-300 players participating.

We will be having week long festivities that will include a kick off party on the August 14th with a local community rally at the Blue Goose Tavern and a Founders Banquet on Monday, August 16th with all the participants and fans of the sport and the teams involved.

Jr. B Season
The Junior team will start their winter sessions on Feb 14th and will kick off the season on April 25th in Mississauga and will have their annual Home Opener on May 1st against a new team in our league vs. The Toronto Beaches.
 
Mimico Lacrosse started in 1890 and this season Mimico Lacrosse will turn 120 years old, it is a club that has a rich history with many former players and builders in the Ontario and Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame. The season will kick off with the Junior B home opener and that night there will be more players and builders inducted into the Mimico Lacrosse Wall of Fame.
 
120th Anniversary Celebration
