Midget's win GOLD at Ontario Fall Field Championships Thanksgiving weekend.

Midget's win GOLD at Ontario Fall Field Championships Thanksgiving weekend. 

On Sunday our Midget team beat KW in the Ontario B 
finals. The team went 4-0, beating the host Innisfil team 9-3, KW 8-3 and Clarington 12-4.

AJ Chaulk provided strong goaltending all weekend and the defence was lead by Joey Menecola.
 
Mid fielder Justin DeMarchi dominated face offs, picked up ground balls and scored key goals.
 
Seamus Shanahan and Joe French lead the offence and Derek Downs also had some big games at attack. 

Bantam aged player Bobby Glenn demonstrated he wasnt just a goalie. Bobby scored a few goals at attack and was one of the hardest working players on the field. 

Our team was comprised on Minor Midget ('94) and Bantam ('95,'96) aged players who all developed throughout the fall season.

The Field lacrosse program in Mimico continues to develop some very strong teams and players and last weekend was great for the boys.
